Wind Turbine Warranty Policy

We warrant the original wind turbine purchase for a specified period* after purchase.
*See individual product's info page to view specified warranty period

Warranty is invalid if the product is used other than as intended by the manufacturer.

Warranty is conditional upon the following:
Within the warranty period we will replace the defective parts. The factory will determine if a part is indeed defective.

This warranty does not cover failures or damages due to the following:

Failures or damages caused by improper installation or setup, unusual use or failure to follow installation user manual.

Failures or damages caused by lightning

Failures or damages caused by wind speed above maximum security wind speed.

Failures or damages caused by improper wiring to batteries

Blade failures or damages caused by contact with other objects

Failures or damages caused by failing to follow the guidelines established by state and local regulations

The warranty is void in case of repairs by any unauthorized person

The warranty is void if the wind turbines are not installed by professional wind turbine installers certified by state or local government

WindMax Green Energy Corp. / Applied Magnets shall not be responsible for any consequential damages that any person or property might suffer as a result of wind turbine defects and failures

The end user of information and products by WindMax Green Energy Corp. / Applied Magnets products assumes full responsibility and risk

All WindMax wind turbines must be installed following the guidelines established by state and local regulations. Consult a local electrical contractor or the local planning and zoning office for details and regulations.

All WindMax wind turbines under warranty must be shipped for repair at the end user's expense. If determined that the turbine is indeed defective, the shipping cost will be returned to the end user* to the end user.
*Applies to 48 contiguous United States only.

Customer must provide detailed proof and information we request to support the claim. If information we request is not submitted to us, we cannot start the warranty claim.

We will work with factory to decide if the parts are indeed defective. We will need time to verify if the parts are defective or not. The process normally takes 3 to 4 weeks, or even longer.
