Wind/Solar Hybrid Charge Controller is included to convert AC to DC. Charge controller can handle 2000w wind load and 600w solar load. Hybrid inverter also has built-in dump load function.
Hybrid controller has LCD display to show the charging current and battery voltage.

This system is grid-tie/off-grid system with battery backup.
Grid-tie wind systems with battery backup is the best solution. You have the unlimited capacity of the grid at your disposal, and you can send your surplus wind energy to the grid. You can still use your system during a utility failure.
A grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup and hybrid wind/solar output is designed to do provide uninterruptible power at lower cost than batteryless grid-tied wind turbine. Grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup is more reliable than grid-tied, batteryless wind turbine system.
Advantages of grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup and hybrid wind/solar output:
1) If both grid-tied solar and wind generator systems deployed, two separate grid-tied inverters are needed for wind and solar. Only one grid tie interactive inverter is needed for grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup and hybrid wind/solar output simultaneously, the reason is that the grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup and hybrid wind/solar output has a hybrid controller and it can control both wind and solar input.
2) Provide Energy Independence for remote off grid sites.
3) Provide Backup power for during outages.
4) Higher reliability than batteryless grid-tied wind turbine, grid-tied wind turbine is relatively new on the market and there are lots of interoperability issues with the grid-tied inverters.
5) There are only a few grid tied inverter choices, grid-tied inverters must be fully tested to function properly in order to achieve higher efficiency and avoid problems.
In summary, if batteryless wind turbine system is configured right, it should be 7% to 10% more efficient than grid-tied wind turbine with battery backup and hybrid wind/solar output, and easier to to install, but during a utility failure, these systems will not provide any electrical backup. Batteryless grid-tied wind turbine is more expensive due to the higher expense of grid-tied inverters if you have both solar/wind systems grid tied. Grid-tied inverter for batteryless wind turbineare is also less reliable due to the limted time on the market.
Inverter warnings: we don't recommend cheap inverters made in China, because they have serious quality problems and performance is unstable, service life is short on these cheap inverters. They are not UL listed, it won't pass safety inspection. If you are buying these cheap inverters, you run the risk of burning down your house and damage valuable items.
Inverter recommendations: We recommend UL listed inverters made by Xantrex XW inverter XW4548 for this model.
